You have questions, We have answers

I thought it might be interesting to ask if you have any questions for us regarding our adoption. In one of my next posts, I will try to answer the questions that we receive. I don't want anyone to feel awkward, so feel free to leave an anonymous question in the comment section. I will try and to do this at random times throughout this process.

hey guys...i kind of have two questions. i know when others have adopted internationally, they had to make a couple of trips over to the other country and even stay there a bit in order for the child to begin bonding. is this part of your process as well? I think this is a very valuable part and i hope you experience such an opportunity. plus i know how much you two love to travel!!! the last one is what worry or concern do you have going through this process? just wondering so i can pray for you :)...and to understand more what it is like going through the adoption process. please forgive me if i am asking too personal of questions :) love ya lots and lots..m.e.

Great idea! Are there a lot of adoption agencies that you can chose from that do it Internationally? If so, what made you choose this one? Love ya!

Hi Sarah,
I got to your blog from the comment you left on mine! :) It is so interesting to read about your process of adopting internationally when we are adopting domestically. There are some steps that are similar and some not at all the same! :) When we did our homestudy, the counselor came to our house to check it for safety. Do you have to have someone check out your place? I remember I was so nervous about someone that I didn't know coming to our house and asking personal questions, but it was fine. Do you have a date that you are leaving for Ethiopia? It sounds like you and your husband have experienced many of the same things that we have. It is such a tough thing to go through. Waiting is the hardest part! :) Sorry for the long post, just wanted to stop by and say that I would pray for you!

Hey Sarah,

I don't have any questions at the moment, but wanted to write and say hi. I finally found the time to spend on the computer and read your blog from the beginning ... i found it to be encouraging and uplifting. Glad you two are doing well!!!

So when things slow down for you we absolutely have to do soemthing. maybe i could make my thai chili shrimp egg rolls. We made homemade chicken and shrimp fried rice last night....quite tasty!! hope all is well!!
